To use this program, your desktop computer must have internet access. Make sure you can visit www.google.com or www.cnn.com to confirm your internet connection.

Type in an HCPCS or ICD-9-CM code and click the "Get Description" button to look up the descriptions. It will take a second or two under normal condition to retrieve the results.

You can use the temporary user name guest@hsu-computing.com and blank password to do the lookup 5 times. After the fifth tries, a popup window appears asking you to register. Follow the on screen instructions to register. We strongly recommend you register if you use this program regularly.  This service is provided free.

After registration, set up your registered user name and password in the Setup tab. If you are using proxy server, you can set it up here too. Use "Save" button to save the settings.

This program is developed using Microsoft .Net Framework and Web Service technologies. You need .Net Framework run time environment 1.1 installed on your computer to run this application.
